Dead Baby In Plastic Bag

A stillborn baby boy was put into a carrier bag after it was delivered at home and left with the grieving mum and dad for two hours as they waited in the hospital.

Lisa Bundock, from Brighton, was 19 weeks pregnant when she gave birth to her 4th child at home. The body was put into the bag when the ambulance took her to her local hospital.

The spokesman for the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust said: "We fully understand the parents' distress and do apologise on behalf of the hospital. We are urgently looking into the circumstances so that we can give them a full account of what happened as soon as possible."
