"Not for us"

To be totally honest we did not like this book. Didn't really enjoy the story, found it to be very American. The illustrations didn't grab the attention of my eldest son (soon to be three) and he started messing about instead of listening and joining in. Think it is over priced. Would not have even picked it up in the library.... very disappointing.

"Nice book but a bit pricey"

My children really enjoyed this book. Or should I say, 2 of them did! The older two are 6 and 7 and enjoyed the story and illustrations. My almost 3 year old however only lasted about 1/3 of the book before she was bored and left the room.

I would recommend this, but not at £11.99, I think that's far too much for a child's picture book, but would buy it if it was 1/2 price as a gift etc. for an older child.

"Not for my daughter"

My daughter is yet to sit through the whole story despite trying many times... She doesn't seem to like it at all :/
Also expensive book for what it is.
Nice illustrations though

"Interesting"

Whilst my 2 year old enjoyed the book, I wouldn't have paid full price for this book. It was however, a lovely heartwarming story, well written. The illustrations throughout the book were really colourful, and gave us many talking points throughout the book, which I like as it helps my daughter adapt her speech and knowledge. The storyline was a little confusing to both my partner and I, though our daughter didn't seem to mind. All in all, a good library read but wouldn't purchase.

"Interesting read"

Not normally a book I would of purchased especially at £11.99. My 2 year old wasn't really impressed by this book, we read it a couple of times, when she was looking at it on her own she only seemed to focus on the dog that was in it and made the story about the dog, think she is a little young to understand the book. I thought it was well illustrated and colourful.

"Bus called heaven review"

From initial viewing of pictures and layout looks like a good book. My 2 year old loved the pictures and the animals and how they adapted the bus. It held his attention all the way through which can be difficult sometimes. My 4 year old was a little more confused as it did not resemble a standard bus inside and needed a lot more explaining. Both me and my husband agreed we would not pay the £12.99 price tag for the book as the kids were not interested in reading it again. It was very obvious it was Americanised and was quite stereotypical with its characters and names.

"a warming tale"

first of all the title of this book captured my 6 year old son and 8 year old daughter, and my 2 year old well just loved looking at the pictures .
we loved the fact that the pictures in the book had images of a multicultural community which probably enticed the children to look as well as enjoy the story.
its a fun loving book which shows harmony in a multicultural society , yet directed at children (though my husband quite liked the story too lol). and plus a happy ending.
this is a fave bedtime and anytime story which has taken pride on our bookcase,
