This contemporary sippy cup has a colourful outer sleeve made from Thermo Plastic Rubber (or ‘TPR’), which provides insulation, keeping cold drinks cool on hot summer days. It also shields hands from the cold bottle and acts as a cushion to protect the cup (and furniture) from denting. Plus, the Safe Sippy can be cleaned in the dishwasher, without removing the outer sleeve.
The only plastic on the inside of the Safe Sippy is in the cap and this, together with the plastic handles and outer sleeve, is certified to be free of Bisphenol A, phthalates and DEHA. Pronounced ridges on the handles help little hands hold The Safe Sippy and once children insist they are too grown up for handles, these can be removed and they’ll be able to grip the bottle around the tapered ribbed waist. What’s more, the spout on the Safe Sippy is straw-shaped, after recent research showed that wide, flat spouts can cause developmental and speech problems.
