“At first I wasn't quite sure what to expect, however as soon as the first question was asked there was no stopping me, I am very passionate about lotions and potions! To be able to share my views and feel my point of view was being listened to and maybe even acted on was really appealing and somewhat rewarding! I really enjoyed the fact that I could be honest, without it upsetting anyone and I got to try lots of new beauty products. The moderators were approachable, friendly and made me feel at ease. I would definitely do another study. I was paid £50 in the comfort of my own home and it was great being able to put your view across and be listened to,” said Bonita, aged 38.

Emma aged 35 from the Midlands agrees: “I took part in some research regarding baby equipment when I was 8 months pregnant with my first child. Initially, I was a bit nervous, thinking that I wouldn’t have anything valuable to say. At that stage of my pregnancy I worried my brain had turned to mush and that I might struggle to come up with the right answers! The Researcher came to see me at my house; she was charming and personable and put me at ease very quickly. The session was very informal and within the first five minutes I knew it was going to be easy. I really enjoyed being listened to and that my anxieties and hopes for the baby were valued and were things other new mothers experienced. Not only was the session very enjoyable it was an easy way to earn £50. I would definitely do another study like this again.”
