A school in America has cancelled its prom to avoid a lesbian student bringing her date. She asked if she could attend with her girlfriend and wear a tuxedo but the school was adamant that all dates had to be of the opposite sex! So much for teaching children to be non-judgemental and accepting!
In a new survey for Mother’s Day, Very.co.uk has found that nearly half of women aged between 25 and 34 decided on their chosen baby names years before even thinking about having a baby. Parents are being warned to keep washing detergent capsules away from children after an increase in chemical injuries at a London eye hospital. Thirteen children under five who were treated for this type of eye injury had been playing with the capsules. Eye doctors say that the children are attracted by the capsules because they are bright and squishy.
