Dribblebuster was discovered as the perfect solution to help dribbling babies stay dry while still looking ultra trendy. Dribblebuster is a jaunty scarf-cum-bandana that catches drool, food and milk without completely covering up a baby’s outfit. This ‘must have’ fashion accessory helps to prevent a baby’s chest getting wet, which can cause chills, and is eco-friendly as it cuts down on the number of clothes to be washed.
Alison Withell, founder of Dribblebuster realised on a family holiday how much her grandson dribbled whilst teething, and how he went through mountains of clothes each day. Even worse, he constantly had chills as a result of his wet clothes sticking to his chest.
“I wanted to find some way to catch the dribble but still show off his lovely outfits, which normal bibs just don’t do,” explains Alison Withell founder of Dribblebuster.
“Once home from holiday, I experimented with a few designs and perfected the Dribblebuster”. “My daughter was immediately delighted with the Dribblebuster concept. Jamie can now keep the same outfit on all day, massively cutting down on the laundry pile. He no longer gets chills and to top it all, he looks absolutely gorgeous”.
Dribblebuster’s design has developed into a very comfortable shape and size, quickly establishing this new enterprise. It was launched at the Earls Court Baby Show London in 2007.
Unlike regular bibs, the clever Dribblebuster design, which fits snugly under the chin, to catch dribble and spills, still allows most of an outfit to be seen. They are the stylish alternative to boring bibs that quickly lose their shape. The quick-drying, woven double cotton layer, including absorbent cotton fleece, allows drool to be whisked away without it penetrating through the clothes.
Dribblebusters, which are hand crafted to the highest quality, feature a wide choice of patterns and colours for girls and boys, including gingham, spots, stripes, stars and fun character patterns to enhance any outfit. They can also be bought in pic’n’mix value packs to match baby’s wardrobe. They come in one adjustable size, suitable from birth up. They can be purchased from selected boutiques and are available online from www.dribblebuster.com
Dribblebuster has had excellent reviews from very satisfied customers. It is very exciting for us to see that we have designed a product that is so helpful to Mums. Many of these have come back for repeated orders from the Shetland Isles to Cyprus!
“The dribblebuster bib is fantastic – quite simply every mum should have one! No longer do I end up with dribbly milk on my 8 week old baby girl’s chin or sticky milk under her neck or on her clothes. The bib absorbs everything and even better doesn’t give the horrible red rash you get from nearly every other mass produced bib because of the high cotton content.
Thank you dribblebuster for saving on my washing bill!” Charlie
